Activities during the outreach included a crusade, cinema evangelisation, leadership formation and a retreat. All the activities took place at Bayerebon an outstation except the leadership formation which was held at Kuffour Camp, the parish centre.

Among the topics treated at the retreat were “Repentance and the hope of the Resurrection”, “Bitterness and Forgiveness” and “Be alert and holdfast to the word of God”. There were also prayer and counseling sessions.

The Leadership formation focused on vision & goals, communication and team work. It was attended by thirty people comprising catechists and leaders from the entire parish.

The crusade and cinema evangelisation were in public and attracted about 272 people. Out of this twenty four (24) adults and some children responded to the invitation to receive Christ.

This was our first outreach at the parish and we are grateful to God for his visitation and, granting us a fruitful outreach.

We are also grateful to Fr. Prince Charles Ofori, the parish priest, Sword of the Spirit Prayer Group for their support and all who in diverse ways contributed to the success of the outreach.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
